Photographs are taken before the point of diversion is placed. The goal is to establish record of the area before the side channel becomes active when the point of diversion is placed. Currently, the site of the project contains ponds and slowly moving water. After the point of diversion is placed, we expect to see more plant and animal life including beaver activity. Periodically, we will take photographs of the site to document and track changes to the riparian habitat.
